Book Sale Room

The librarian was super helpful he knew exactly where the book was, I wanted and ordered a DVD I wanted from another library since they didn't have it and will email me when it comes in!

Nice quiet environment. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful which is very important. They offer book sales as well as DVDs I recommend!

Lots of community services and programs, an on-going used book sale (super cheap too!!), coffee available for library patrons, computer labs, a growing audiobook selection, a wonderful large print book selection, and a member of a large library group so you can always find and get any book you're looking for. The staff is super nice and helpful! I really like the new self-check-out system where you scan your library card and it scans all the books for you. They also have a great website with lots of information and useful links. It's a great library for a town of Pekin's size!

It's very clean and quiet. There are lots of rooms to study in for children and adults. They staff is friendly and greet you when you first walk inside. The sections of books are easy to navigate and clearly labeled and the online services are fantastic.

I needed information about a collection of short stories, but there's construction vehicles tearing up the street in front of my driveway, so leaving my house is a hassle. Called the information desk and the man I spoke with found the collection I was asking about and provided me with all of the information I needed with no hesitation. He was so kind and helpful!
