3 Simple Steps to Home Delivery

Request, relax, and receive your library items delivered right to you!

Submit Your Application

Fill out the online form or print and return the Homebound Delivery Application. This will initiate your request for home delivery services.

Confirmation & Details

Once we receive your form, we will contact you with all the necessary details to complete your registration and delivery schedule.

Delivery to Your Door

Volunteers will deliver your items to your home on the first Tuesday of every month. This service is provided at no charge to you.

Accessibility Services

Resources for Individuals with Disabilities

Get free personalized library access delivered! Eligible: individuals with cognitive/developmental disabilities, dyslexia, deaf/hard-of-hearing, mobility-aid users, and 4 All Programming participants.

Cognitive & Developmental Disabilities

Children of all abilities are welcome at all of our programs, whether neurotypical or not.

Dyslexia

Libby offers a dyslexic font option for digital books, making reading easier on your e-reader, phone, or tablet.

4 All Programming

This free program is designed for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, including dementia. We meet twice a month—once to use a private computer lab and once for a fun, social-focused activity. Check the calendar for dates and times.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Assistive listening devices and hearing loops are available for programs in the Community Room or Conference Room with speakers. Please inquire at the Information Desk for assistance.

Mobility Aids

If you need assistance getting around the building, please ask at the Information Desk for a wheelchair.

Vision Support

Services for Low Vision Needs

We offer low-vision equipment for in-library use, including a desktop magnifier and magnifying floor lamp.

Talking Book Delivery Service

The Illinois Talking Book and Braille Service offers free delivery of books, magazines, and braille materials monthly. Available to those unable to read standard print due to visual or physical disabilities.

Large Print Books

When print is too small, explore our Large Print collection featuring fiction, mysteries, inspirational books, westerns, and non-fiction (Adult Services).

Digital Library

Digital books from Libby and Boundless allow font size changes for easier reading on your computer, e-reader, phone or tablet. Apps also provide access to audio-books.

Audiobooks

CDs for young readers to adults. Large selection of fiction, mystery, inspirational fiction, young adult, juvenile and non-fiction audio-books.
